Niagara Falls weatherNiagara Falls offers much to see and admire from its bounteous beauty during any season. Bright rainbows radiate from the mist in the summer months in addition to elaborate ice formations in the winter. Climate is strongly influenced by the Niagara Escarpment and cold, deep, waters of Lake Ontario. Variances in elevation, the natural air drainage flow to the north, and the water mass of the Lake, which responds slowly to temperature fluctuations, produce a remarkable number of microclimate zones. Warm temperatures prevail during the summer months, with comfortable conditions for spring and fall, subject to average precipitation. Winters can be harsh at times, yet has a special magic of its own and the landscape is totally transformed. Niagara Falls, a great place, in all seasons.
