
Niagara Falls has many different approaches that are usually east and
west oriented. When considering transportation note that, there is Niagara
Falls, Ontario on the Canadian side and Niagara Falls, New York on the
American side. The highway system links both sides of Canada and the United
States. On the Canadian Side, there are toll bridges that will greet visitors
travelling from or through New York to get to the Canadian Side of the
Falls.
The Queen Elizabeth Way (QEW) via Hwy 420 is the primary route to get
to your destination in the Falls. This highway starts in Toronto, outlines
Lake Ontario and passes through Niagara Falls, interconnecting with major
streets. Travelling with major bus carriers between Niagara Falls and
Toronto is convenient with their frequent daily departures between the
two cities.
Via Rail offers daily passenger service between Niagara Falls and Toronto
Amtrak, runs a daily train from New York returning to Toronto via Niagara
Falls, known as the Maple Leaf run. Four commercial airports serve
the Niagara Falls area. There is an international airport at Buffalo,
New York, which is linked by frequent bus connection to both sides. The
other airports serving Niagara Falls, Ontario, are at Hamilton, Ontario,
and Pearson International Airport at Toronto. Toronto airport is linked
by direct bus to Niagara Falls. Where ever your point of origin begins
